A Minnesota aerospace parts maker is suing a St. Louis private equity firm, alleging it was misled during an $11.3 million buyout. In the 2020 deal, CRA Holdings Corp., formerly known as Sunrise Precision Machine Corp., sold out to Chandler Investment Group LLC (CIG), the sole member of Chandler Industries Inc., another Minnesota maker of aerospace parts. Arch Equity Partners, the St. Louis private equity firm with a portfolio of companies serving industrial customers, lists Chandler as a portfolio company and has a formal management contract with the firm, according to court papers.
