He spent five years in maroon and gold as a Bulldog and now Zach Ojile will be suiting up in purple and gold. Monday afternoon the tight end was officially signed by the Minnesota Vikings. The former two-time University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) football captain, and Blaine, Minnesota native, proved himself at Vikings Rookie Mini-Camp last week earning a spot on the 90-man roster. He will now look to become the first Bulldog since 2014 to make a final 52-man NFL roster. Last fall at UMD Ojile totaled 25 catches for 289 yards and five touchdowns.
